Weighted Vest Oct 27, 2009
By B. Floyd I purchased the ZFO-60lbs weighted vest for my brother who is training to be a firefighter. After searching hundreds of products, I found this to be the highest quality product for the money. My brother is using the weighted vest and overall he is completely satisfied with this purchase. After the first couple of times wearing the vest he noticed that his neck and shoulders were sore...but that is to be expected. The only negative he has found with the product is that the strap pinches him in his side at times. Despite that fact he is pleased with the product and the cost. Also, delivery was fabulous. Without any additional shipping charges the vest was delivered 2 days after I placed the order.

60lb Weight Vest Jun 12, 2010
By Tyler I got this weight vest a few months ago and was quite happy with it. The only reason for the 4 stars (would have given it 4.5) instead of the 5 is because the shoulder straps takes a little getting use to (I might just have broad shoulders and the straps rested more near the neck area) but there was a bit of pain for the first week or so, then I got use to it. I don't know if my body just adjusted, or something else. This is my first weight vest, and judging be the other reviews, it's one of the best ones out there. I use it with all of it's weight while doing sit-ups, jogging, walking, squats, ect... It hasn't shown any signs of wear yet.
Also, just a little more info, I believe on their site, you can buy metal cards instead of the sand filled bags (which are sometimes a little hard to get in and out) and, while this hasn't happened to me, the metal cards won't rip like the bags might.
Okay, one more thing. I got mine on Ebay (New, from the same people) for around 70$ with free shipping. I don't know if they're still doing that, but it might be worth a look to save some money.
Anyway, like I stated earlier, my rating is more of a 4.5 than a 4, but not quite a 5. I hope this review helped someone choose the right vest.

Good quality product - Although one size doesn't fit all. Nov 04, 2009

It's a good product that's manufactured with some serious quality. And it's as comfortable as a weight vest can be. The two issues I had with this product had to deal with the one size fits all. I'm 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs - the vests Velcro system doesn't fully tighten to my chest and since I can't tighten it fully it causes the length of the vest to bounce and disrupt my groan during my routines. Overall, its well made and is worth your money.

Quality Vest Oct 08, 2009
By Scott Walnum After reviewing tons of vest options, I settled on this one. The other vests looked very cheaply built, but I liked the look of this one. It looks like their other products, but is much cheaper. It hasn't dissapointed me, in person it looks as good as the photos (although I do feel like I'm wearing a bullet proof vest). My shoulders and neck hurt a bit wearing it, but I think that would be the same, no matter what vest I got, gravity and all.
I definitely recommend it. The 60 was the cheapest, on a per pound basis, and 60 is plenty heavy (I'm only using about 30 now, but intend to build). Shipping was amazingly fast.

Somewhat satisfied Mar 06, 2012
By DQ Item arrived quickly and as advertised. Quality of the vest seems to be good with strong shoulder straps and adequate velcro to keep things in place. Haven't tried with the full weight set yet, but was able to do running hill sprints with 20 lbs and it seemed to hold up well. Only have two small gripes at this point. The instructions that came with the vest appear to be from a different brand. Though the vests are similar, there is some minor confusion when trying to install the straps as certain sections don't match up with what was given. This is minor though and I was able to figure it out. The other gripe, which is somewhat more major to me is that I was charged $38+ for shipping. Because this was a 60lb+ set I thought that was reasonable. What the vender did though was stuff the whole thing in a USPS flat rate box which ships for one rate if it's under 70lbs. A large flat rate box costs $14-$15. Did it really cost them another $23 in "handling" charges? I think not. Felt a little ripped off there, so be warned.
