A Great Little Investment Jun 25, 2008

I own 9 of these balls and have enjoyed them thoroughly. I not only use them for squeezing, but also for throwing. Even though they are only one pound it makes quite an impact when thrown with a partner. Helps to build up the bone chi and teaches how to decelerate a ball. Plus I have developed an entire way of using them by passing them through the legs, throwing them over the shoulder, and so forth. I have been using mine for the past 3 years and all of them are still holding up just fine. And that's so even though they are frequently dropped on either concrete or asphalt when my students are doing the throwing. I don't baby my equipment and these balls have withstood the pressure.

This is the coolest little stress reliever I have ever messed with (yes I know this is a grip trainer for everyone else in the world but to me it is just a man stress ball). I think everyone in my office is going to end up with one based on how many people have come by to borrow it. I never inflated it so I haven't had any issues with the valve blowing out, I can see how that would happen if you over inflated it. personally I find the feel of the sand inside to be more relaxing than that soft and squishy feel most stress balls have. also the running joke in the office is that it is the only stress ball with personal defense capability, peg annoyance between the eyes and it goes away :)
Pretty Cool Feb 19, 2012
By Drock I like the weight of it and use it as a stress ball at work. I had a boxer's fracture in my left hand it has really put some strength back in my grip.

Doesn't stand up Oct 25, 2007
By Ryan Harris I bought this hand exerciser & within the second day the valve blew out with a hiss. I continued to use it, but by the 5th day I wore a hole in the ball itself. I was going to take it back, but couldn't find the receipt, of course, so was stuck with a flat leaky ball. I threw it away in the garbage where it belonged in the first place. Very disappointed.

There are some mixed feelings on this product. I love this product if it holds air. I have ordered 4 of these so far and 2 of them didn't hold air that includes the last order. I'm debating to return and order another one or just forget about whole thing.
