 It IS a children's book! Apr 25, 2012

A previous reviewer said they were upset that it seemed to be a children's book. All of the titles in this series are children's books. Most children's books are thin and have simple text; these titles are pretty standard for the type of book they are.
I think the whole series presents a very good overview of the subject. However, you may wish to check out the newer version of this series--the books have the same titles, but often have different authors than the original edition.
As I write this, I am cataloging the updated edition of this title, 9781608180462 (I'm a library cataloger, and often use Amazon as a reference in my work, which is very helpful--I can compare older editions of a work to the one I have in hand, if I can't obtain the actual older edition at the time. The "look inside" feature is very helpful--thank you, Amazon!)

I was rather disappointed by that book. It felt like a childrens book to me. Very thin, some nice pictures but very little information. Also, I find it too expensive.
