These hats run small... Feb 12, 2009

...so err on the side of caution and bump up a size. I generally wear a 7-1/4 sized hat, and I ordered a medium according to the size chart. It was so tight I started getting headaches; took a good week before the hat had stretched to a comfortable size. Fortunately, now that it's comfortable the fit is low and snug, and it looks good.

The Cardinal cotton ball cap made by Twins and sold by Amazon is an old version. There is nothing wrong with the cap itself, but the emblem lacks the size found on the same version of the hat found at retail outlets like LIDS. I also found that the emblems were not sewn on straight making me wonder if Amazon is selling a second quality version. I would suggest that you buy the cap elsewhere.

I purchased this cap when on sale for $9.95. It has held up well so far, and my husband (who's quite picky and only wears fitted caps) says it fits fine and is comfortable. It's a great bargain at this price.
