I ordered the Carolina Hurricanes version of this Game Time Schedule watch as a Christmas gift for 2011. When the watch arrived, I was excited to open it and see how it looked, however, it was dead on arrival! With only a few days before Christmas, I emailed the company and asked if maybe it was just the battery and I received no response. As of this day, I have yet to receive a response from them! I took the watch to a watch shop and had the battery replaced at the cost of $11.50 and it worked like a charm. The watch guy tested the battery in came with and said it was deader than a doornail! The watch band is rubber and the small band that keeps the loose end in place would continuously move around allowing the loose end to flap around. My husband replaced the band with a casual leather band he had on a watch he already owned.
It did come with a coupon code included in the box to access the current schedule for "free". That was a nice bonus as a lot of reviews complained about having to pay each year. Well, I personally don't see a problem with paying $10-$12 a year for a new schedule. We pay more than that for other electronic gadgets, virus protectors, etc.
So in all, I would say it was a hit as a gift for any sports fan out there. It plays the national anthem at the beginning of each of his games to alert him. Looks nice, no regrets here!
