The starter set of Intech Future Tour Junior Golf clubs for a 5-year old was well-received, a perfect birthday gift which allows a youngster (in this case, a grandson) to try golfing early on and determine if the game is for him. If he doesn't care for golf, he has a younger brother ready to step in and try the clubs (which he already has). Clubs delivered in a timely fashion and should be a marvelous precursor to the development of a scratch golfer.

After much online research, I bought this set of Intech Future Tour golf clubs, left handed, for my nephew. The price is excellent. The shipping very good at Amazon. Most likely, I got a shipping deal.
Getting clubs for a leftie, majorly decreased my choices. This is a beginner set, he may or may not golf, but I wanted him to have the tools, clubs if he wanted to start. After research, the proper size, length is vital to develop correct swing; based on his height, 2009, I was only about 1/2 inch over. This is good for up to age 11, so there is much time usage to the gift. The other option group, 8-13 was too long. Other golf club set, prices were much higher. You get a good club group in the set, plus a bag. Being 5 at the time, he enjoyed filling all the pockets, nooks and crannies of the golf bag, with golf balls. There are many storage areas.
My brother, also got him one golf club; so my present shined being a whole set, though, that was not the objective. My brother,was happy with the set, so he could teach him golfing, and has since, taken him out to a golf range. So, I highly recommend adding this golf set to a young boy's collection of sports gear. Plus, his sister can use it also, she can do left, but seems to prefer right more.
This is a really good deal, FOR LEFTIES. I researched for many hours, online, 2009.
