decent wedge and decent price Apr 12, 2008
By Steven relatively inexpensive wedge, forged is a plus, and grip is decent. design is classic and sleek.
grooves could have been cut better to get more grip on the ball. shaft seems not be true temper dynamic but a low budget version shaft, and shafts are very important in this game. but overall its playable.
you can get very cheap wedges either making them yourself or taking golfsmith's club workshop where you get to learn and make a sand wedge yourself for 15 bucks and get to keep it at the end.
Great Sand Wedge; Good Value Jun 29, 2011
By Jeffrey Thibault I've been playing for about a year and have been using this club for quite some time. I don't have a point of comparison as it's the only 56 degree wedge I've ever played with, but I've found it to be easy to hit, pitch, and chip with so long as I'm swinging well. I do sometimes "blade" the ball with this club when I'm trying to swing it easy for a short pitch up onto the green, but that is probably more to do with my grip than anything else. I've been hitting this club well on all manner of "scoring" shots and have a lot of confidence with it, something that I can't say about nearly any other club in my bag.
Great feel. Dec 28, 2010
By D. Gersbach Out of the package I couldn't wait to start swinging this wedge. It has a great feel and the heavy head really drives through the ball. For a high handicapper I get great contact and it makes me look much better than I am.
Great performance, incredible value Aug 15, 2010
By Redwood George I use these wedges every week and have absolutely no complaints about them. The balance is perfect, the forged head is makes nice soft contact with the ball and the clubs are very predictable. Everyone mentions how sharp my short game is and it's because I completely trust these clubs and just relax and let them do their thing. I know it's kind of weird but I look forward to those shots where I've got 40 yards over a bunker onto a short green because I know it won't be a problem.
There is a dark / black satin version of this club but I've never had any issues with glare off the head. Considering the low price of these clubs it's doubtful you'll get more improvement in your game for any less money.

Solid Wedge Oct 18, 2007

I purchased this wedge for $25. In my novice expereince, there is no equal to this club in a performance to price ratio. It is extremely easy to hit, and really makes you look much better than you actually are. I would recommend this club to a friend, even if that friend had unlimited funds and was an experienced golfer. Now, that friend may call me names and denounce my credibility after trying the club, but I nonetheless would recommend it to him.
