Too Bulky Oct 19, 2008
By K. Pagels
"Boo D. Do"
I am disappointed. I used to own the Harbinger wrist wrap glove and it was very basic made with thin, supple leather. I wanted a replacement pair in womens' small and this was what I found. However these are not the gloves I used to have. These are way too bulky with huge inside seams that hurt my wrist and between my fingers. The padding compromises control and makes my hands sweat. The fingers are too long and padded, I can barely bend my fingers. The wrist wrap is stiff and bulgy so I can't wear my heart rate monitor on the outside of the glove. The only good thing is that, if you wrap it tightly, the glove does offer good wrist support, but mobility is lost in the whole hand in general. I wouldn't get these gloves again. I liked the old Harbinger wrist wrap gloves much better. I have only used these twice so maybe they'll break in and feel better soon.

great support for lifting Mar 15, 2008
By MacKitten Great for lifting when need additional wrist support. I find them most especially helpful when doing preacher curls. Would recommend on having a lighter pair of gloves in addition, I have found that some exercises the wrist support feel as if it hinders my movement so I also have a simple pair of harbingers to switch to, I'm still getting used to them but for the difference in my preacher curls so far its been worth it.

solid but not quite stellar Apr 06, 2008

the sizing chart was helpful but trying on would be more ideal, of course. based on the chart and another user's recommendation, I ordered a Medium - my hand measures just about 7-1/2 inches around the palm (near my knuckles). at first, I thought they were a perfect fit, but now I think they could afford to be a bit snugger. the wrist wrap support is good - I like it - I think it's effective. the grip is okay - I haven't used leather or synthetic gloves before, so I don't have a preference at this point. I thought I would appreciate the padding, but I tend to think it's not necessary. I think it makes it more difficult to get a firm, tight grip - especially because I have small hands. for the extra wrist support, I think it's a good deal. if you just want a better grip and some callous protection, I think a thinner, lighter glove would be better. I haven't tried that yet, though.

Harbinger Women's Wrist Wrap Gloves Mar 03, 2009
By Shekinah I purchased these after experiencing increased wrist pain while working out. Though the benefits are limited, I can definitely tell the wraps stabilize my wrists quite a bit. I also like that you can loosen the wrap if you want. The only drawback -- and this was noted in other reviews -- is that the gloves are really stiff, which can make it difficult even to pick things up. I'm hoping I'll be able to break them in after a couple months.

Great Gloves Nov 15, 2008
By Kristen The gloves feel great on my hands. They run true to size. I purchased them because I have weak wrists but love to do push-ups. I love how these gloves wrap around my wrists to give me extra support. They are a little stiff around the wrists but minor flaw. Nice quality and I forsee these gloves lasting a long time.
