great product, great price... May 11, 2010
By Headless I put this setup in my office and use the medicine balls frequently with my patients. This is a great product for a really good price...good luck beating it anywhere else. The rack is nicely constructed and easy to put together...it takes up very little room and the balls sit nicely on their holders. Tossing these things around is easy and they have a decent grip. I am quite happy my purchase and do recommend this set for both home and office use.

CS is NOT helpful Dec 29, 2011
By Brittni I ordered this product for a Christmas gift; although this probalby would be a 5 star product soley due to Amason but it is far from! When we opened the product we noticed the 2lb ball was flat & had a raddle. Some how the plug had fallen in. inside the packaging it also had a paper stating STOP in large red stop sign stating not to contact the seller but Cap Barbell directly. We did immediatly the next day & got a voice mail w/ other options, one being email. I emailed over all the info that would be needed right down to the detail, etc. I waited 24hours & nothing so I sent another. I immediatly got a responce from Jeannette stating I would need to contact Amazon. I responded & said it directed me not to per Cap Barbell and asked when I could be expecting a replacement due to the damage... needless to say we're still waiting. I would putchase from Amazon over & over but WILL NOT EVER purchase from Cap Barbell no matter what type of product, the customer service is not worth it.

Stay Away From This Product - Potential Hazard Dec 22, 2011
By Randy Very disappointed with this product. All of the balls came covered with a oily chemical substance. When handling the balls, this oily substance comes off on my hands. I do not know what the chemical is, but do not think it is good for me. We have tried several times to wash this substance off the surface of the balls, but have not succeeded. In addition to the oily substance, the balls emit a horrible odor. The smell is so bad that I have to keep them in garage to prevent smelling up the house. (Not a bad place to keep them if one is afraid to handle them.)
It is past the 30 day return period with Amazon, so I contacted CAP Bar Bell directly to return or replace the ball set. Customer service response has been very slow as it has been 6 weeks and I still do not know if they are going to address the situation. Come on Cap Bar Bell, man up and make it right!

Deflated Balls Sep 30, 2011
By Stephanie Lasch, LCMT

We were pretty disappointed to have some of the balls deflate without any real use whatsoever within 1 day of receiving the order. Now we have to go buy a special pump to inflate them. Funny, we've only had them 2 days. Sad. Just really disappointing from a consumer point of view.

Poor Quality, Terrible Warranty & Service Jun 09, 2011
By El Sabio

First off, the rack is solid but much too large. You can't tell from the photo but it's much too wide and doesn't store well unless you have a dedicated home gym or a good corner for it.
The main issue was that two of the balls (the #2 and #6) began to go soft after about two weeks. I researched, called, and tried everything to find out an inflation rate on these balls to no avail. That said, I pumped them up to basketball PSI recommendations, 7-9 lbs PSI. the #2 ball exploded and the #6 was fine until the next morning. When I went to use it it was ripped at the seems.
CAP Barbell wouldn't replace these balls. Even though I was outside the 30 day warranty by a couple of weeks, the problem started well before then. I thought I would do my due diligence and try to inflate these balls before I called. Even a little understanding by CAP would be nice. By rupturing overnight (#6) it's obvious these two were defective. All others were fine.
I've replaced the two with Valeo brand balls and that is what I recommend. The quality of material is much better, much easier to grip. They carry a one year warranty and even come with a needle AND recommendations on inflation and care.
