 OK belt, WHAT ARE THE SIZES? Mar 02, 2010

Just received this belt today and it looks pretty serviceable. I couldn't find the sizing information anywhere, including the ALTUS website, which is just incredibly poor customer care. The large fits me quite well (I have a 35" waist) and leaves a very small gap in the inner belt but the velcro strap is really long and attaches in the back (or the front if you put the buckle in the back) and this is a bit unwieldy. It's difficult to get good tightness. Decent belt for the price.
The sizing is on the tag for the belt. ALTUS says:
SMALL 22 - 28 in
MEDIUM 28 - 36 in
LARGE 36 - 44 in
X-LARGE 44 - 52 in

This is a great value, it works what else do you need?
Velcro helps you make as tight as you need it.

Amazingly Low quality May 02, 2011

I'm actually impressed at how low quality this lifting belt turned out to be. I used it for a couple sessions, and it was fine, and then I was low-bar back squatting 205 (a new PR for me) today, and I felt a "sprung" - worried for a few seconds that it was a muscle, and it turned out not to be (thank goodness) - the Metal buckle, though, turns out to have been made of some useless (and thin) material that just crumpled when it had any pressure on it. I find it hard to believe that anyone would use this belt without causing it to fail (and become useless) given the construction.
My first one star review on amazon, and the product definitely deserves it!
